Its amazing to me that the PS2 still sells amazing games and hardware even after its long release, it shows the qualty of PS products.

I believe that in time PS3 will beat Xbox 360 sales, formely due to its high price tag.

Will the DS beat its sales?

Ofcourse Ds will beat PS2 for sure.

if you look how big the market already is after 4 years and last place console sold 31 Million while first place console ranges above PS2 in the same time period then its clear that there will be muliple consoles which will beat PS2.

The DS will outsell it. Than the wii will outsell it. Once the wii outsells the PS2. And it will. The meltdown of many fanboys begins

im not sure if i would say the Wii will outsell it but ya the DS for sure will but its a handheld sooooo

This is the most arrogant post I've seen all day, you speak in absolutes as though you have travelled to the future and back and know the outcome of sales...I guess fanboys will always be fanboys.

I don't think the Wii will sale better than the PS2. Once the next Nintendo console is out, the Wii sales will drop really fast and it won't have as much legs as the PS2.

Actually WII is tied with PS2

This is from Jan 00' to Jan 04 so which is under 4 years as according to wiki it was released in march NA December World so add 6 months and You get like 70 million+ it's still selling today so I don't think so WII has got to lose it's appeal eventually unless itll cost 70 bucks like todays ps2.

The wii hasn't been out for 4 years yet. Its only been out since November 06. Its actually 3 years and 2 months old and 2 weeks.
With 10 months left. That's alot of time for the wii to expand that gap
