if you look how big the market already is after 4 years and last place console sold 31 Million while first place console ranges above PS2 in the same time period then its clear that there will be muliple consoles which will beat PS2.

Actually WII is tied with PS2

This is from Jan 00' to Jan 04 so which is under 4 years as according to wiki it was released in march NA December World so add 6 months and You get like 70 million+ it's still selling today so I don't think so WII has got to lose it's appeal eventually unless itll cost 70 bucks like todays ps2.

The wii hasn't been out for 4 years yet. Its only been out since November 06. Its actually 3 years and 2 months old and 2 weeks.
With 10 months left. That's alot of time for the wii to expand that gap
