Probably happens to any kind, I'm having this problem with my new slim that I bought a MONTH ago.

When it freezes, its not game stopping freezing. If this happens in the menu after you exit a game, just wait around 20 seconds and your game should be unfrozen. Mine is a 60GB, and this is the only freezing problem I have had.

Just wait like 20 secs.

First of all you need to learn sarcasm, second of all, try actually writing something that doesn't resemble some pissed of 13 year old, who takes his games way too seriously.

It freezes when the scoreboard is shown at the end of the game. I'd wait at least 2 minutes, and nothing responds at all. I'd press the PS button, and the XMB wouldn't show up.

Never had that problem, in fact I don't know if I've ever had my PS3 freeze. Maybe once or twice at the most.
