Good side stories, but less impressive main story? Odd summary.

Anyway, this game will definitely receive a lot of great accolaides. RPGOTY will doubtless be between this, Fable 3 and Final Fantasy XIII... salivating battle, if you ask me!

There is no doubt in my mind that this game will be fucking awesome.

The diffrence between ps mags and oxm is that the reviewers admit to owning others consoles such as the ps3 and loving them... And also that if they don't like an exclusive they will let you know(crackdown 1 received a 7.0 from them!)



Good news, saw it from metacritic but didn't want to make a thread without more than the little summary.

Thing is...
Mass Effect 2 JUST CAN'T SHOCK you enough as the first one did.
So, the SHOCK factor is out.
This ain't a "downgrade".
And it is a MIDDLE chapter. Expect some cliffhangers and some unfinished storylines.
But I don't think there is anyone who didn't know these things.
It is as if someone complaining why "THE TWO TOWERS" seemed unfinished...
Other than that... What are the candidates for GOTY 2011???

Ah, the old Gametrailers "Uncharted 2" saga getting a mention again. I've finished Uncharted 2 and it's essentially Gears of War combat mixed with the easiest of the puzzles that ever appeared in the Tomb Raider games. The level of polish is higher than any other console game this gen, but does that mean it deserves a 10? Nope. Not IMO anyway. MW2 bought new game mechanics that didn't exist in previous games. In terms of single player, I thought MW2 and U2 were equal, only U2 was far longer and a bit more cinematic, so it definitely wins there. MW2 wins in multiplayer, no contest though. The PS3 fanboys will always waffle on about stuff like this. The same happened with KZ2 which was "the bestest FPS ever!", but when you log in there's a couple of thousand people playing it worldwide, so it seem those that talk the talk don't really follow that up by playing the game. They've probably all defected to MW2, as much as they hate to admit it.

Anyways, 9.5 is a great score. I don't give a shit what the score is personally, unless it was universally panned and getting 3's everywhere. I'll be picking this up day one!
