if it doesn't install that little software package it could limit natal or what it can do, it might run slower or not be able to run some types of games, i dunno

Thats not gona happen never ever. Its just impossible the biggest week for a console was 2 Mln and that was for DS. Even if it would be a HUGE HISTORiCAL success it would never achiev 5 Million.

Even if it would sell more then Wiifit add on and all Xbox would be bundled and in a non Holiday week the Xbox would sell more then the highest Week for a gaming device ever in history it still wouldnt reach this 5 Million you mentioned.


I cant describe with words how impossible this is. You know 30 persons who would buy it ? Ok guess what I know 50 persons which never heard of natal or Wand or anything and they own Consoles. Infact I know only a handful of people which know about it.

Your scenario will happen only if natal+Halo reach= 60 Dollar. But a 3d camera is no lotech its expensive.

Ok I will take your bet, I was being optimistic but I do see high numbers for this.

  I do see your point but I think a tech like this has people captivated and yea some don't know about it now but watch what microsoft does.........

Vista a bigger blunder than PS3?  Did Vista lose billions of dollars and cost Microsoft the lead in consumer operating systems? 

RROD was no walk in the park either, but we need to think in terms of scope here.

Vista was the operating system that 90% of computer users were going to buy. The problem was everyone who bought it had efficiency loses.

So yes, an operating system installed on 90% of the worlds computers, and running inefficienctly, dwarfs ANY problem to do with any console.

Natal will also push millions of new XBox 360 consoles around the world except Japan. Oh well, Japan is not the be all and end all of the video game industry.
Natal will bring in casual gamers who will purchase the Arcade 360 which will be even cheaper, probably $99 when Natal is launched. No HDD required for Natal is bonus.
