SImple question really. 444 is the magic number for Wii to get a 6th million selling week in succession. That would be an incredible feat.

I'm a pessimist about the post christmas dropoff... so no, I don't think it will. Somewhere around 300k, is my guess.

The Wii completely sold out last week in my local Best Buy, so I think it's going to happen.

Last year most consoles dropped around 60-70% this week in the Americas, and then the preceding week was already down from its peak week. I would expect most consoles to fall at least 60% and upwards to 80% this week. The only problem is we don't have any meaningful data on Wii itself since it has always been supply constrained.

Probably not. It didn't occur to me until now but Europe's week begins on Saturday, which just so happened to be boxing day. That's why sales are so high in others this week. There's nothing like that in America to keep sales high. Numbers will probably be higher than a normal week as people spend their Christmas money but most of that was probably spent last Saturday.
