Right... because we couldn't live without games like Carwash Tycoon, Deer Hunter, and Totally Spies.

To be fair, Atari does publish a few of good games like Neverwinter Nights but looking through their published games is like wading through a sea of crap.

Someone will bail them out.

Probably Nintendo or Microsoft.

Failing or not, it's still a pretty recognizable name and there's no such thing as "owning too many development studios".
