One of the best things about NSMBW is that playing with other people can often lead to awesome events, hilarious occurences and tragic mishaps - sometimes all at the same time! I like it when people share these anecdotes on NSMBW-related threads, so I thought it would be cool to have a thread devoted just to this. I'd love to hear what entertaining things have happened to you guys while playing this game with others!

I'll start off with a pretty modest one.

While on 2-2 desert land with my family, my mum and I accidentally managed to create a totem pole with both of us carrying barrels and her jumping ontop of the barrel I was carrying. It was a funny image while I tried to get through the whole course keeping the totem intact... unfortunately my driving skills weren't up to scratch....

Though it got me wondering if it would be possible to create a huge totem pole if you had all 4 players carrying barrels and standing on one another? That would be an awesome sight.

Going down to the secret coin 1 in 2-2, my cousons in the bottom and I going up, continue, and they die, after we all go down there and I take the barrel, and while I'm down the sand I kill my cousin, when we enter to the place with switch With the pit of coins I enter the pipe right before my cousin hit the switch, the floor goes and they fall (note: this was in coin battle so no bubble and it was meant to compete)

My flatmate is the most annoying person to play with. He is, however a bubble-master! He can run after any number of power ups that are falling into certain doom, grab them and bubble-up to safety just in time. He's like James Bond with the plane at the start of Goldeneye.

All the same, I hate playing with people who overuse their bubbles. They become like parasites, draining lives off everyone else!

NMBW has many stupid things to laugh at : P

in world 5 there's a level with a boat, kind of, where i can hold up 5 enemies and stops moving when it reaches 5

the funny thing is that you kill all the enemies and the boat still shows 5 and is not moving, you wonder why and then you realise that coins count as well....

also, did anyone notice that in multiplayer everyone kills each other without noticing?

Picked up my sis during a boss fight... she was small
but this is after she used yoshi to spit me into a piranah plant

On that level with a long vertical drop after you press a switch to make the floor disappear, me and my brother entered with no knowledge of this.

My brother began exploring the walls, carefully checking everything, and I just jumped on the switch. We laughed with surprise when the floor disappeared, and vowed not to just jump on random switches when we see them.

When we died in the level and restarted it, my brother fell directly on the switch when we fell into the room. Broken that rule instantly...
