Who do you think are the best players in the NBA today based on the position they play? I think it's something like this:

Point Guard: Steve Nash             

Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant

Small Forward: Lebron James

Power Forward: Chris Bosh

Centre: Dwight Howard

Overall Best player: Kobe Bryant (some would argue Lebron James based on his stats, but Kobe's ability to deliver in the clutch is unmatchable IMO)

Wow we have something in common because that is exactly what I would put my list as except I wouldnt put Kobe as the best in the game today.....lebron does more for his team than kobe could even do for a stacked lakers team.

Kobe is the more refined better all around player though.

C - Dwight Howard; but give it a couple more years and will be Andrea Bargnani

PF - Dirk Nowitzki or Chris Bosh - I would say Garnett but he's getting old and injury prone

SF - LeBron James, duh

SG - Kobe Bryant followed by Dwayne Wade

PG - Steve Nash maybe

And put me down for LeBron James in the James vs. Bryant debate because I hate Kobe. He dropped 82 on my team the Raps. (and he's a rapist)

You might be able to argue with my point guard selection. But please don't say Nash, he is getting to old and hardly plays any defense. Chris Paul is an amazing young player and is only getting better.

I am astonished so many have Nash over CP3. Anyway, here is my list:

PF-Garnett
C-Tim Duncan

Overall best player? LeBron James.
