^^^^ Yeah I'm dropping hints too but no one is catching them. They keep on hitting the floor, now I have to go and clean them up. :)

It makes perfect sense. If Motorstorm is actually important it to you, count it as a game, if not, take $20 off the console price (maybe close to what you'd get for it, probably more $10-15 I guess). I don't count movies in my formula because it's pretty silly to buy a console to watch movies on. |
@twestern,
It sounds like if someone is interested in the movies they are getting with the console and they aren't "just an extra" to them but a selling point then they could count it in your formula. Am I wrong?
Get COD4 or Ratchet and Clank or Assasins Creed ...the 3 have scored around 9.4-9.5 recently and they will be followed by Uncharted and Rock Band and Haze in some days .

I can personally vouch for Ratchet and Clank. A pure blast -- and also very, very funny (Emperor Percival, indeed). Insomniac built in lots of their trademark features -- skill points, level replays, etc. Clank even has an "Amulet of the Fates" moment (if you've played God of War 2, you'll know what I mean). Worth every penny.

Possibly, but I personally think it's pretty silly to put movies in the formula. You don't get more than 2-3 hours of entertainment out of them and, well, I buy my game consoles to play games on. If you want to watch movies, buy a movie player. Don't tell me I'm wrong here. Don't try to argue with me. That is simply how I think and I couldn't care less what you have to say (not saying you're going to say anything, I just hate the PS3 is also a movie player argument) and that's about that.
Twesterm, can I rely on your bullshit-fighting skills upon a whim? Like a mercenary for hire?
NOOOOOO, don't buy a 360! Stick with the PS3!
Diomedes1976: "Get COD4 or Ratchet and Clank or Assasins Creed ...the 3 have scored around 9.4-9.5 recently"
CoD4 scored around 95-96, but Ratchet's score is 89, and it's too early to say for Assassin's Creed. And of course both CoD4 and AC are also on the 360.
Montana: "Damn I want a PS3 so badly."
It's interesting that you wrote this in response to a post that compares the PS3 unfavorably to the 360 in almost every aspect.
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
