I don't want to be the party pooper, but remember Risen? Remember how you praised it's graphics? Remember how crappy it looks on the XBox360? In case you don't, here:
Here's one of your threads: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=65381
I'm pretty sure you made a couple others too.

Risen is actually a one off case and the only one I really know of. I would suggest you bring out more than just that game as proof of an overall trend.

What trend? The "I'm pretty sure you made a couple others too." was talking about how he made multiple posts about Risen. What trend are you talking about?
EDIT: I didn't want to bring this up because it's off topic, but here's another example of Selnor hyping something up and being absolutely wrong about it. I already talked about Risen. I can almost assure you that the XBox360 version of this game won't look like these trailers. And here's something about Grid, not graphics related, but gameplay related.
Here's a post about Grid: http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=24932
"Yes the Physics are way ahead of Forza 2 and GT5p. Also that damage model would take polyphony another 2 years to get near as they have far more cars. Also the trackside damge model from Dirt is there to. Just wow. Grid throws alot more data around than Forza or GT. Thats obvious."
Here's Codemaster talking about Dirt/Grid vs F1: http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/39734/Formula-1-2009-Is-A-Sim
"Right, I haven't read every post in this thread, but I get the jist and just to stop you all from panicking too much... GRID and DiRT are aimed at an arcade audience and they do that very well. F1 has different requirements and will get a completely different treatment from our in-house team, including full on sim options, physics, rules and regs etc. We will also have arcade requirements catered for as well. How this will be split we do not know yet, but split it will be."
Make what you will from that. Personally, and please don't take this the wrong way admins and Selnor, I would take most things Selnor hypes with a grain of salt.
