Hm, as if some random shop employee would know...
That's just dates they have as placeholders until the official release dates are announced, all shops use them.

Hey I never said there weren't any good games coming out for wii until september, I am just not interested in any of them.

I just want to tell everyone that those dates are not from 'Nintendo' but are approx. dates posted by the companies based on 'insider information'. Basically, the companies give them a 'window' (2-3 month timetable) of when they think the game will launch and they make their best guess and put it on paper, encouraging people (like us) to pre-order the game because it looks like the game has a set date.
If this DOES turn out to be true (which I highly doubt), its pretty much following my prediction that 2010 is going to follow the same formula of 2009. With Wii only getting one high profile game every other month or so, mostly from Nintendo itself. And most of the best games will be coming out near the end of the year from Sep to Nov (like this year was).
all part of the plan, invigorate the wii's core market by releasing galaxy 2, other M and zelda within 6 months of each other
nintendo fanboy, but the good kind
proud soldier of nintopia
you consider to Zelda, Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid : other of m, so this year the three...........mad laugther!
Saludos!!
Im bored with NSMBW. I want Galaxy 2 NOW
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
So, SMg2 in Sept, probably Zelda in Dec.. with NSMBWii doing so well, they'll probably not do a big game until after Fiscal Year ends so Metroid will probably be in Mar/Apr.
That's my bet.
We better get one of these games Q2 Mario or Metroid M. I really don't want 9 months of no games and than all of sudden 3 big games within 3 months of each other (Mario, Zelda, Metroid)
