that was funny, i applaud Ninty for not following through, it looked like a piece of crap to me and would have been another periphial that they would not support anyway

Interesting 2 years ago people thought 50% was obtainable, but now it's looking at sub 40%


To be fair, the ball was in Nintendo's court, and no one could have predicted how much they ended up dropping it.  It was a reasonable prediction at the time, really.

To be even more fair, at one point in time, the Wii was tracking on his site at 49.5%+. It only needed to close the gap a very small 0.5%. Had they not dropped the ball tremendously (07+08+09 were AMAZING years for Wii software. '10 was decent at best, and '11? Uh, wtf happened?), they would have easily pulled waaay above 50%.

You have bumped the wrong thread. I know one user (I think thibje) made an thread with the title 'the wii will never reach 50%' and he got trolled/abused like hell. Sadly can't find the thread :s
