Excuse me but who are you to tell me to take back what I'd said. If I didn't like SMG what's that got to do with you? Who said because I said it's not a masterpiece that it isn't a masterpiece. It's kinda obvious that lots of people loved it and reckon it is but I don't think so. That's my opinion on this and I'm sticking with it.


Saying it didn't sell because it wasn't a masterpiace is like saying orcarina of time should've sold 15 million.

I said SMG is not a masterpiece because I didn't like it. Not to say that it's the main reason for not selling as expected by some.

I can't believe there is atopic complaining about a game selling over 8 million copies.
freaking hell it's like a 16 year old girl complaining getting a new car for her birthday and crying it's not the colour she likes.

My Dad likes playing NSMBWii (easy to play) He doesn't really like Mario Galaxy (but has given it a try) It is too hard.

I'm sure there are millions of people who bought NSMBWii because it was easy for them to pick up and play. I'm sure there were millions of people who passed on Galaxy because it was too hard.

3D Mario is one thing, handling crazy physics is another.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

My wife found MG so nauseating just to watch that I couldn't play it when she was in the room.

Galaxy was a great game, but I always felt it was pretty overrated. It certainly isn't one of the top 3 games of all time as gamerankings claims it is. I had fun with it going through the game and beating it, but I never felt the urge to go back and completely finish it, as in, getting all 150 stars. NSMB Wii is much more fun IMO, and I actually do have a desire to go back and get all the coins in that game.

It was ranked so well more because it was the kind of Mario game the critics wanted (3D gameplay, variety of gameplay, and flashy graphics). Not claiming the game is bad (don't have a copy yet, but what I played I like), just that it's not the game the mainstream wants.
