360 could be up to 50K ahead of PS3 in Americas. Japan gap should be more making it a >100K gap this time round. Going into non-holiday mode I think the Americas weekly gap and Japan weekly gap shold almost cancel each other out making the WW weekly PS3 v 360 gap being about the same as the Others gap.

It looks like late gifts and early clearance sales kept sales high enough the week after Xmas. Very good, games industry resisted quite well to the crisis, but it suffered nevertheless, so this good Xmas is a godsend. Now with these results and the undeniable contribution given to the economy when it's most needed, is it asking too much to hope dumb politicians, censors and wannabes of these types stop trashing videogames and blaming them even for earthquakes?

Wow.. i cant even count 10 exclusives the 360 have that's recently been released. May i ask what games you'e refering to? The last "game" i bought for my 360 was the GTA DLC. And that was in like sept/okt somewhere..

Maybe the fact I buy all multiplat games on 360 partly due to poor ports, but also combined with me liking achievements and playing on Live is the main reason not just whether they're exclusives.  As you asked though...

I don't understand your argument really at all given the 360 has had 3 decent exclusives in L4D2 (console exclusive if you must be pedantic), Halo 3 ODST, Forza Motorsport 3 while the PS3 has only had 2 that I recall in Uncharted 2 and Demon Souls.  Seems when you look at both consoles the games releases are pretty even at the very worst from a 360 perspective and certainly neither lacking in games to push sales.

I'm really behind on my gaming this year and its going to be hard catching up again.

L4D2 is PC for me and it was as much fun as the first one, but theres nothing great about it. I dont play, excuse the word, generic FPS on Console so Halo ODST is out. And i dont like simulation racers. As for the PS3 you mention 2 GOTY titles which both were awesome. So in my opinion the 360 needs more games list Gears, ME, Bioshock etc. Like the good old days.
