Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Name any decent Wii title that we may have forgotten to buy

I was the same way about excite truck, i never got to buy it til a few months ago, and im loving it! I bought Medal of Honor Heroes 2 like a year after it came out and i never looked back. Im thinking of getting Dead Space Extraction; its an on rails game, but a good one.
I still havent got both Call od Duty games or the metroid prime trilogy; mainly because im saving up for a new tv. Check the ones I listed, they're pretty cool.

if you wanna try out a rts for the wii, dawn of discovery (also known as anno in europe) is a great one. sadly there are not many rts's on the wii yet, even though the genre is right at home with ir controls.

You are spot on about RTS games being at home on the Wii. This is why I hate EA. They'd rather shoehorn a control scheme for Dual Analog controllers and touch screens for the Iphone rather than take a chance on the Wii.

On topic:

Sword and Soldiers on Wii ware it's a rts game

Punch Out ( Wii) --Arcade Boxing

Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre--- A third person shooter (it's a port from the Xbox/PS2).

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

I throw in some point&click adventure games, as this is usually the most overlooked genre on every system:

Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templars - Director's Cut
Secret Files: Tunguska
Sam & Max: Season One
Another Code R: A Journey into Lost Memories
Tales of Monkey Island Chapters 1-5 (WiiWare)
Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People Episodes 1-5 (WiiWare)
Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis (PAL only atm)
Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle (PAL GER only atm)

Little King's Story and Muramsa are both great overlooked Wii games that have some RPG elements mixed in. Also, not an RPG, but check out Zack and Wiki if you're even mildly interested in adventure games.

I loved zak and Wiki - I really feel strongly about that game and everytime a mate / work colleague gets a wii I lend them that game and badger them until they've played it.  So far only one has said they didn't enjoy it.

I really think Nintendo should bundle this game with the Wii cos some levels would keep entire families thinking for hours.  Best Wii game for me so far I reckon.

Gor Broken Sword, Secret Files, Strong Bad but not the other ones - I bet I could get them cheap nowadays.
