So I read the article about how capcom stated that the future is with the ps3 & 360 and thought "those are bold words". The article also stated that sega is moving towards more mature games (most likely not to hit the wii ex: Bayonetta), so what is going on? What did nintendo do to piss them off? I know that the comment was capcom france but I doubt this statement would have been made if capcom wasn't really thinking about it.

Capcom France != Capcom Japan. This has been shown over and over again as Capcom Japan says 1 thing, while Sven says another that completely contradicts what the Japanese headquarters put out in a press statement.

Now, there could be a hint of truth in what some guy from Capcom France said, but until Capcom Japan actually does abandon the Wii, I'll just take it as some guy talking.

The same can be said for Sega, as Sega claimed they were going to try their best to bring mature games to Wii, and bringing 2-3 games and quiting isn't really trying their best. I would expect a few more attemps before all is said and done.

it's not nintendo, third party devs have been drowning the Wii with crap from the beggining.
look at what sega did with Nights. all AAA titles available on the Wii are all from Nintendo ( if not all then about 90% ). I lost faith in 3rd party games for the Wii. crap doesnt sell no matter what system its on

Capcom expect spkybory to sell like mario, Capcom expect RE:DC sell like Mario Kart. If it don't it is considering a mega flop.

Well consdering that capcom is a big name dev and the wii has a userbase of at least 60mil...16,000 copies sold would piss me off too lol

16,000 was for france, where they are closer to 4m units sold. However, 80k (in Others) on a ~25m userbase is really sad too.

Considering that Capcom found a home for what is currently the second best selling home console game in Japan on Wii, i don't think they'll be backing off anytime soon.

Actually, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is selling better than Bionic Commando on the Xbox 360 or the PS3. I wonder when they are going to complain about those sales on the HD System. They did promote the game by releasing Bionic Commando:Rearmed on the Xbla and the PSN. They also released a demo of Bionic Commando. Yet it still bombed. Now, What did they do for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles? Reused assets from Resident Evil: Umberlla Chronicles, including the engine. Yet they did not go out of their way to promote the game.

By the way, Dark Void Zero is a DSI ware game that is being used to promote Dark Void for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Both will be released This month. Now what exactly did they do to promote RE: Darkside chroncles? I wonder?
