It's not that bad in short bursts. I have been shot with it. It feels like when you hold your hand over a pot of boiling water. Hurts like hell, but as soon as it stops, it stops hurting.

hmm, but there could be ethical issues posed to weapons like that. Like the loss of memory weapon, could be used by terrorists.
