Yes. New Game + and a Rebirth mode.

Do you have to have a new game+ to have the rebirth mode or?

Oh it definitely is a good game!

That i'm not sure of yet. I'm only at the desert. Lol level 20. :/

Ok, does anyone know if this damn game gets harder? I just killed yet another boss and didn't even go below like 95% HP....this is ridiculous >.<

EDIT: Just found out that this game is litterally easy all the way to the end. FFS Level-5. It is mind-numbingly easy as balls.

i beat the game at level 34-35.
the game may not be hard battle wise... except for a few monsters (that i wont say where they are, you'll get there) nothing life threatning though, with the knight and all. BUT i think it might be hard and take a while to get the platinum if you're interest in that.

maybe there's some crazy monsters on quests but i havent done much of those so i cant say... i want the guide =P

should i get it?

Hmm, would anyone say that the suggested 30 hours also includes the sidequests?

... How many sidequests are there, alot, not many?

Would it maybe last someone up to and over 50 hours if they were to finish each sidequest AND the story, as well as a little grinding, and explore for items?

How are the enemies, do they scale up with you, or are they just really easy? Because I'm thinking, I LOVE grinding in games, but I don't want to be like 3x higher level than the enemies I'll be fighting (And possibly bosses) since that'd seem like easy mode o.O

The Main quest can be completed in 30...doesnt mean it will, times will vary depending on how much the player puts in..WKC is easy so you will be stronger than most enemies..LV cap 50..read the front page you'll be filled in

I'm at less than 20 hours (16 I think) and I think I am near the end of the game (level 22) I did 0 grinding and only did 3 quests.

Reason I think I am near the end of the game was I thought I may have been so when I got to work I checked gamefaqs and sure enough it listed only 2 areas after the area I am currently in.

So the 30 hours thing is high...

Been rushing through as I wanted to try and finish it before Bioshock 2 then shelf it until I caught up on games and come back to it.

The slow pace of the battles doesn't bother me much, it's pretty much FFXII without haste or speed boosts.

What bothers me is the stupid high amout of enemies and spawn rate. You kill 4 enemies, do a step, kill another 4, then if you do a wrong step, the first 4 enemies have respawned >_<

Without haste?!  I see someone hasn't put their skill points into magic :)

beat the game the other day! the game was good! can't wait for the 2nd! this game was a solid 7.5, too bad this game is getting slammed by western reviewers, the highest one I've seen so far was a 7.25 from gameinformer.

GT gave it the highest review I have seen, 7.8 I think

Easyness of the game is really irking me though. Such potential wasted by this watered down bullshit >.<

then again I just did get done dieing a million times on Insanity in M.E.2

This is what scares me about FFXIII - the fact if you die you just start right before the battle, don't even have to return to a save point

Take it from a guy who has played the Japanese version for a year the online quests get ridiculously difficult from GR6 up.
