It is a fantastic game. I just beat the second BIG boss (the wind guy) and that was one of the most fucking insane fights I've seen in a videogame. Remember that feeling you had when god of war first came out and you were killing that hydra or when GoW2 came out and you're fighting this giant colossus through out the city? That feeling of awe that it is something just so crazy cool, and makes you feel ridiculously powerful? Bayonetta destroys that stuff, it is that feeling all over again when all other modern games have caught up to what GoW 1 and 2 brought to the table. GoW3 is going to have to be fucking insane to keep up with the set pieces and boss fights in this game. The bosses are HUGE, and when you bring them down you feel like a beast.

The game gets even more rediculous after you beat the boss your talking about (are you talking about the inspired....that red serpent?)

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

It's really great on 360.

I'm definitely getting the game this weekend. It's gonna be awesome!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

I wasn't thinking about getting it until I played the demo, now I just need the money.

5 chapters in and Bayonetta is undoubtedly the best hack 'n' slasher i have ever played.

And this is coming from someone who has played the following games..............

Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 2
Devil May Cry 3
Devil May Cry 4
Onimusha
Onimusha 2: Samurai's destiny
Onimusha 3: Demon Seige
Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams
God of War
God of War 2
Chaos Legion
God Hand
Ninja Gaiden
Ninja Gaiden 2
Golden Axe (2008)
Shadow of Rome

My newly revised top 5 EVER hack 'n' slashers

1. Bayonetta (360)
2. Onimusha 2: Samurai's destiny (PS2)
3. Ninja Gaiden (XBOX)
4. Devil May Cry (PS2)
5. Chaos Legion (PS2)

In terms of companies making Hack 'n' Slashers i still hold Capcom closest to my heart thanks to Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Chaos Legion & Shadow of Rome.

My Fave game this generation so far is Dead Rising, i don't know if Bayonetta will become number 1 yet, but if it carries on like it has so far theres a chance it will.

Bought it this morning. I'm not in love with it yet (the narrative is CRAZY) but I can see myself enjoying the game. It just doesn't give me that "gotta play it til I beat it" vibe. With a great game, I will make time to play it. I won't go to sleep before work. I'll miss my favorite TV shows. I'll show it off to friends. I'll dream about it when I'm not playing it. I don't see myself doing that with Bayonetta.

My family is asleep, so I guess I'll fire it up right now.

^^^Admittedly, I'm not very far into the game.

No, it was the second cardinal attribute. The GIANT tornado guy. I mean that was just frikkin insane. That was like Shadow of the colossus on a bad acid trip. Chapter 7 or 8 I think.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Worst hack and slash game IMO.
the graphics were meh and the game was too cheesy for me.

The final boss is about ten times as big as him :P it redefines "epic". You haven't seen anything yet.
