Forums - General Discussion - Movies you are not looking forward to in 2010?

A few days back I made a thread where I listed the top five movies I'm looking forward to in 2010.  But let's face it bad movies outnumber good movies by at least 2:1.  So here is my list of the top 10 movies I'm not looking forward to in 2010.  What are yours fell free to list as many as you want.

1. Sex in the City 2 (One of these was bad enough)

2. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Will they ever stop making video game movies that for the most part always suck.  Also this comes out on the same day as my #1 pick May 28 will be the worst day for movie goers in 2010)

3. Tooth Fairy (I think it time for the Rock to go back to wrestling and stop starring in terrible movies)

4. The Spy Next Door (As much as I like Jackie Chan its time to retire or stick to doing voice over work)

5. Step Up 3-D (The regular version sucks so I doubt the 3-D sequel will be any better)

6. Marmaduke (Do we really need a live action version of a unpopular comic strip featuring the voice of Owen Wilson.  Its bad enough that his brother Luke is on TV every 30 seconds in those boring ATT cell phone adds)

7. A Nightmare on Elm Street (Not a big fan of the original franchise but this looks laughable)

8. Grown Ups (It features David Spade and Rob Schneider need I say more)

9. Dear John (Remake of the Notebook set in a different time period and feautring another war, how original)

10. Valentine's Day (features Taylor Swift and a bunch of other over rated actors)

anything made by tim burton or starring jonny depp for a start, anything that thinks its funny but isnt, anything that stars Leonardo DeCantActIo, anything made by disney, anything based on a video game, anything based on a book but that is nothing like the book

thats just some things that put me off films

The Three Stooges.

Why, Hollywood? Why?

BloodRayne 3: Warhammer (Uwe Boll)

Legion looks like it will be almost as dumb as Daybreakers. Both look terrible. Also, Greenburg looks really dumb as well. It seems like Ben Stiller is trying too hard now imo. Tyler Perry, while I consider his movies to be a guilty pleasure in most case, I think Why Did I Get Married Too seems like it has way too much drama. Sex In The City is just not my type of movie, and I won't be forced to watch it by any of my friends so I don't think I really care that it's coming out. I'm still not a fan of the Twilight Saga so when Eclipse comes out, I will be far away from movie theaters. Also, I'll be eyeing Rotten Tomatoes when The Sorcerer's Apprentice comes out because, well, it is Nicolas Cage. I do think you have a point about Step Up 3-D, and while we're talking about idiotic movies that have no reason to be in 3-D, Boxofficemojo has a Jackass 3-D listed to come out the same month....so that will go in that list. There is also a movie calle Burlesque that stars Christina Aguilera and Cher.....In order of terrible movies, I'll go ahead and make a "top 10" list of the worst ones.

10. The Sorcerer's Apprentice
9. Sex In The City 2
8. Greenberg
7. Legion
6. Burlesque
5. Why Did I Get Married Too
4. Eclipse
3. Step Up 3-D
2. Daybreakers
1. Jackass 3-D

(BTW, I agree with most of your list...most of it at least. I am interested in the PoP movie and I used to LOVE the Nightmare on Elm Street movies when I was a child).

Nice list.  Nicolas Cage could have been easily five times on my list since that's how many movies he got coming out in 2010, although Kick-Ass looks decent.  I save him for next year since Ghost Rider 2 is in development.  Jackass 3-D would have made my list if I knew about it when I made it.

The Karate Kid

I can't think of anymore at the moment.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Karate Kid, I loved the original so much I dont even think I'm going to see it.

Oh, and I can't wait until Sex in The City 2, the first was great

Warrior of Light #66

"I'm not illiterate, my parents were married!"

3DS FC: 2878 9589 2016

There will be another Twilight Movie. It will be just as painful as the second one. That's the big one. I'll be avoiding that and any Transformer Sequels that come down the pike.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Twilight 3 mostly (sigh)
