According to this guy gran turismo fails as a franchise because gran turismo 5 takes to long to be developed.

Funny how he doesn't realised that alan wake too takes a long time to be developed. So I guess alan wake fails too, no?

I don't personally think Forza has much to worry about. It did it's job for it's fanbase and that must be noted.


This forza stuff makes me laugh. It's like comparing killzone to halo. I dont know how good forza is but it's  a tiny franchise compared to gran turismo.

not really, in both instances, sony both more quality, and expensive games.

Actually, in both instances the games much worse on Sony PS3.

I m not going to lost time listenning this asshole

what I know : GT5 will not sell par with the others games because PS3 is not dominating as the PS2 was

but, if the OPM scans are true, if the gameplay is as perfect than in the trial demo, then GT5 will EASLY get back the crown for the best simulation on console AND it may even dominate the one on PC ...

This guy is an idiot, gt5 by sep was70% complete as thy said at german convention.. forza is good no one should say otherwise.. im sure polyphony is taking there time to make the game great,,

About the psp version its not as good as i thought to be honest. but no way gt5 will fail  2010 is gt5's year and the sim raing of this gen.

I have been waiting for this for a LONG time and I feel that I they gave me the short end of the stick with this game :( yes they gave me prologue but its just taking too long with the release, could it be that they have rather wait to get the install base large enough to ensure success? I want to understand their reasons but it sucks waiting for game this long :( needless to say I feel for those "Duke Nukem" guys :(

I definitely prefer the long development time for a quality game than an annual release rushed product with full of bugs.
