3 problems:

1:Its 10:24 here in Finland so I don't know what time it is in Us but still very few members.Have seen max 350.

2:Why so many guests don't become member?

3:1Chat...I have been member almost 2 years (I think?) and I still don't know whats that..Something about that IM or what it was but  the main point is that there should be easy way in front page to go to this chat.And if it is there, think how many new members are having trouble with this since even I don't know about it.

Lets start this year with some improvements!

(Actually I made somewhat same looking site as Vgchartz in school with Joomla and got 1/3 rating just because its so complicated.)

C) It's chat .. like IM

How is any of this suppose to be improved? As if it's iois fault :-S

Web desing.

1) 350 members online at one time is pretty good. We currently hover over 200, in the past it used to hover around 100.

2) pretty much every website has more visitors than members. I browse IGN and other videogame websites, but this is the only one I'm a member and actually log in for. (I'm a member at gamefaqs so I could gain some information, and haven't logged in since )

3) quick links -> VGChartz IM. You can get to it from every single page. In fact, it is easier to get to than the sales charts.

Chat never took off and I doubt it ever will.

More visitors then users is usual.

I was a member at other sites (ign, gametrailers, gamespot) and I finally chose vgchartz over those. Anyway, I get what you mean. I don't know if it urges to somebody to get more active users or not. I guess they don't think is worth it. It may mean to change a bit the way thinks work here.

Most people probably don't realize half of what they are missing by not logging in.
