Although your point does make sense and I'm inclined to agree with you a little bit, I have to disagree as a whole. This is because I believe that gamers vote with their wallets for games that are acceptable to them. By acquiring bayonetta like it had no problems, we give devs the idea that this kind of behavior (bad ports) is acceptable since we dont really care when it isn't. Infinity ward was able to make cod4 great and identical on both consoles without even having an install on ps3 (if I remeber correctly) and this was waaaay back in nov '07. It's ridiculous that we still have this problem in '10.

At the very least, the ps3 version should be discounted not $60 since we're supposed to pay for what we get.

@Pristine20- My thoughts exactly, since the 360 version is quite obviously the better of the 2, regardless of metacritc or any other reviews, they should have launched bay on PS3 for a reasonable price of $40 instead of $60 like 360, you really should get what you pay for.

I ask myself the same question.

Gamestop/EB Games stores must know of the inferior-ness of the PS3 version cause they're selling it for $64.99 while the 360 version is at $69.99.  However Gamestop is full of rip offs cause the Bestbuy/Futureshop beside\ them are selling it on both platforms for $59.99 lol

I like how people are saying that they are not going to support Sega with this game. Even resorting to paying $5 less for a used version. After all that Sega has done for you PS3 owners Valkyria Chronicles, and Yakuza 3. All they did was make sure that Bayonetta wouldn't be a 360 exclusive. I guess you just don't screw up with a PS3 game or you become "lazy" developers

thats actually the things that almost pisses me off the most, developers that cant get it on par (or atleast close) are just LAZY...which is pathetic.

Main problem is this game is optimized for the 360. Loads of alpha effects etc which is not a strongpoint of the PS3. Sega only wanted to make more money so rushed a port to the PS3. Bad move really.

I think a lil bit of fanboyish is at play... PS3 owners didnt ditch tekken 6 becoz of its horrible load times.. Its still a gr8 game- might not be the best multiplat title but nothing about it detracts from the experience completely.

If you really give a damn about videogames you'd prolly get this- slightly muddier textures load times be damned...

d. SEGA back in the console business
