Forums - Gaming - Bayonetta GAMESPOT review (X360= 9 - PS3= 8)

The PS3 version of Bayonetta has frame rate issues and longer load times. Would installing the game onto the PS3 improve the framerate and loading times? Mandatory installs tend to improve the PS3 version of most games. Tekken 6 is a good example of this.

360 version of Bayonetta is the one to buy if you are a 360 owner or own both HD systems.
3 and a half years on and the developers are still struggling to get the PS3 version on par with the XBox 360 version.

thats actually the things that almost pisses me off the most, developers that cant get it on par (or atleast close) are just LAZY...which is pathetic.

In the defence of developers, sometimes publishers just want a game out and will not pay for the extra development staff needed to hit a release date with equivalent performance.  It isn't them being lazy, just being prudent on budgets usually.  I know it sucks but ultimately these games are made to make money.

i suppose, but this doesnt like it happened....there a dozens of developers with a budget and time that can pull out amazing games with the little money they have....and yes i know that games are made to make money, but theres a difference between making money and giving a lesser product to another console...not only that, but it will affect sales in favor of the 360 version.

I think it's unfair to put 100% blame on the devs here. Even Sony themselves said it would take 10 years to realize its arcane structure.

Meanwhile, the devs can only work on it for so long and must push the game out.

a link would be nice, i have never heard of that.... anyways like i said before, plenty of dev. and publishers have delt with small budgets....i am not blaming 100 percent of the devs...i am not one of them, i dont know what its like, i dont even know if it was thier fought, it could be anything, but, they should have worked this into account before deciding to work on mutiplat, a AAA multiplat to add

wasnt SONY going to fix SEGA's shitty port!

c. redesgined PS controller
