Shit, you don't need that whole list to point that out, only two of the news do nicely. The one where EA close numerous studio and fire 1500 employee followed by the one where they buy Playfish for over a quarter of a billion buck! Playfish! A company that do not charge for it's game and most certainly don't make a profit, much less one that justify paying that much for it. It's a Youtube type of venture, a lot of users but a money sink, the difference is that Google can afford it, EA? Not so much.
