Forums - Gaming Discussion - I love Tales of Vesperia. Do you?

I love Tales of Vesperia. It's been quite some time since I completed it, but man, I love that game. I love Symphonia even more, but that's neither here nor there. Tales of Vesperia remains, to me, the best game on the 360 and the second best-game in the Tales-series. So far, anyway. I've been listening to the Tales of Vesperia theme song a lot for the last week or so which reminded me of it's greatness. It even made me change my avatar!

Such a spectacular game. So, what's your opinion?

I really, really liked it too. It's the only Tales game that I thoroughly enjoyed. No major faults. I've only a few complaints.

Like you, I think it's the best game on the 360. Certainly one of the best RPG's in recent years.

My favorite game on the 360 and PS3, so far. I'm now replaying it on PS3 in Japanese.

Best game this generation for me.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

As soon as I get a 360, I'll get ToV! The Opening Song is awsome.

You should have made this a poll.

I don't love it.

Polls are overrated. Your opinion is expressed perfectly through your post, poll or no poll.

Also, your sig rocks.

I like it but I don't love it, the annoying characters and the button mashing started to make me not like it as much.

I love it

I was enjoying it at first but I stopped playing it once you finally form your guild. I don't know why I stopped exactly but I did. I think it's because I had gotten good at the combat and wasn't really having a hard time with it. On top of that I didn't understand a good portion of the game mechanics so I kinda felt like I was fumbling my way through it.

I'll probably pick it up in a few months and fall in love with it. I took a 4 month hiatus in the middle of Lost Odyssey but ended up loving that game.

I was about to buy it then the PS3 version was announced so I didn't. Then the PS3 version came out in Japan. Then the PS3 version never came out in NA... But Tales of Symphonia was easily my favorite or second favorite GC game.
