Is it possible for Sony to Catch Microsoft in North America?

Ok so worldwide the PS3 has caught and surpased the 360 in japan,and the other regiuons like europe. This being said the PS3 is still being outsold in North America.Does anyone think the PS3 will be able to start out selling the 360 weekly in NA and eventually surpase it and if so how,because i feel it would take some major game releases and and effort by sony to make this happen. So what do you think?

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

PS3 has always been ahed of the 360 in Japan, the Japanese don't like foreign goods too much, as with the Americans.

No.

Well of course anything is possible... but you obviously weren't speaking in termas like that, I mean it is physically possible that a shower of small meteorites could take out the worlds PS3s in a pinpoint strike.

It has taken the PS3 3 years to manage 12 million in the Americas.... if it has a high level of sales for the next 3 years (followed by an inevitable decline) then it could reach 25 million. The X360 is already past 21 million.
