Forums - Gaming Discussion - Name at least one bad thing about the company you love (current-gen)

Sony:
UK pricing is a joke! PS3 £249, should be £199
, PSP Go: £229, should be £150-£170

also hate the fact they let other companys dominate TV and dont show many PS3 ads, and when they do they are at like 1am and i see about 10! WHAT!

mmm also dont like all the updates and expensive movie prices! £4 to rent a film? dream on £2 please

ohh yeh and PS1 classics? i want them ALL on there! take so long to change them to work on PSP...dont bother

i swear when they say HEY look PS2 game on the store....here is 6 to get u started...i will be mad! all like 10,000 or dont bother

wow nice thread idea lol

Nintendo:
-Afraid to make M-rated games for their older audiences.
-Besides Brawl others Nintendo games need more replay value.
-Better online and more channels.

New Year, New Avatar.

looks like you conventiently forgot about Wii Sports, MKWii, Mario Strikers Charged, NSMBWii and more. As much as I like brawl, all of the games I actually listed have gotten more playtime in my family. Obviously tastes in games will vary, but every single one of those games can keep you entertained for a long long time.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

Sony:

- No more backwards compatibility for PS2 games and no emulator to replace it.

- Hundreds of PSOne games on the PSN in Japan, but only a handful on the U.S. PSN. They should release at least 5-10 games a week.

- Adding new features only after the competition has already done it.

- Not enough PSP support.

- PSP Go (WTF!?)

- No real focus on where they want their brand to go.

Sony made the Playstation which had Xenogears on it, and I love the company for that main reason (Or maybe just a really strong like). It's not like they have to pay my bills or hold down a spare kidney for me.

Nintendo

-Lackluster Online support for the system.
-Needs to have a more active role in attracting 3rd party support.
-Needs to have a more active role in WiiWare development.

Sega

-Sonic Team: Stop building games around Sonic himself and start building a game around fun platforming and speed. I promise the outcome will be much better.
-Don't let Constantine Hantzopoulos speak for you in random podcasts.

Nintendo:

ONLINE! - I want a Steam/360 type of online setup. AND I WONT pay anything for it.

I would like a more powerfull machine with HD Graphics. But i understand and except that to keep costs down and not have a $600 system they could not do too much with that stuff. But I would love for them to find a way to get caught up with the HD twins and keep a decent prictag if at all possible.

I know this sounds more like a wish list and it kinda is. But these are the 2 things that bother me about Nintendo. And the graphics thing isent even a big deal but the online is.

Sony.
Not following up on many promises including game releases.
Over pricing the PSP Go and forcing the consumer to pay their prices for games.

Microsoft.
Although they eradicated the problem of faulty hardware with 3 year warranty they were late in implementing it.
Still feel that the hcarge for online is steep despite it being slightly more superior to PSN

Nintendo.
Casual feel to a fair few games.
No Zelda.
Online needs sorting. Its annoying adding people each time you have a new game.

Nintendo: Not doing anything to get 3rd party devs to make GOOD games on Wii
