An interview by Game Maga in Japan

if u undestand Japanese

http://blog.livedoor.jp/htmk73/archives/2148449.html

This interview is about sales in Japan only, not overseas

basically first asking about the overall sales of their titles in Japan, Inafune said he can't say titles other than MH3 are a big hit

the second ask about MH3 sales in Japan (1.1million), he replied by saying some ppl think it sells well, others don't, but he personally thinks it's selling well, he goes on saying how big Nintendo helped them with the development.

in the end he grades how his company performed last year from the scale of 1-100, he said 75. he said for the first half of the year he can mark 100 points, but their second half was dissapointing. he hopes 2010 will be better.

Take a look at my photos on flickr

They only people that think MH3 didn't do well were the retailers who ordered too much. Both Capcom and Nintendo are beyond happy.
