How many sites do you know of will post a rebuttal of a rumour they posted by copying another site, seriously CGI? Are you trying to be argumentative today purposefully?

That link by the way has been posted on here a few times and funnily enough everyone keeps ignoring it, mainly because it hurts there agenda for dismissing current 360 sales has not been due to replacement consoles bought because of the ban. I found that article while browsing xbox-scene by the way and might have bothered to post a thread at the time if it wasn't for the crap attitude of many in the Sony camp on this site at the moment.

For my part, everytime someone posts a statement regarding 1 million bans I'll refute it, shame more posters don't seem to want to for some reason.

People are bored. Truth of the matter: the only device in serious need of assistance is the PSP. None of the other consoles/devices being debated about are doing bad, and the Wii isn't ever really discussed like the PS3 or 360 because it continues to do it's thing. It isn't in a race, it's trimming it's nails at the finish line.

I had to laugh at that considering I am using the Wii browser and trimming my nails at the same time.

The agenda comment wasn't referenced to you.

I stand by my point the original poster I quoted was incorrect, I provided you and him if h e reads this, the required evidence to dispute the claim.

You quoted me this time and I responded with the link. I don't understand why you've making such a meal of going on about number of sources and what we should believe. I could perhaps have put the link in my original response and avoided you quoting me and in future I will probably do so when this issue occurs.

Whenever you enter a debate on a subject you should always fully understand what you're discussing imo, by not possessing the full facts on the ban number he shouldn't have mentioned it like you say.


Finally if you go around with the attitude of assuming everything you read is true then you're a propoganda machine's dream come true, if you're mad enough to run with a unconfirmed rumour as fact then expect to fall flat on your face occasionally. This last paragraph is generic and not aimed at you in particular I'll add though CGI.

Surely the Wii will dominate, Nintendo doing what Nintendo does best. Be happy for them.

But Sony is not going to roll over and die. Microsoft may have Halo, they may have a closing and relatively small lead, but the PS3 is on absolute fire. This is not going to run out.

it already happen with 299$ slim, no one believed sony could do it, but they engineer the machine so well they managed to cut the price.

though, by the end of the year i expect them to at least drop 250$ and bundle their motion controls and may LBP or RE 5 alternative or similar game

In fairness when you look at the original launch model it was extremely over engineered in quality terms for what you expect traditionally in a console.  The current models are about where they should have been at launch, still not sure why they went so mad on some of the design originally.  The biggest savings of course have been Bluray doing well (hence costs plummeted with mass production on diodes) and natural cost cutting on the GPU and CPU. 

We may see a price cut in the US next year to try and keep pace with the 360 when it cuts, but I think Europe is safe for Sony so it might not be a global cut as they strive to be profitable.
