I didn't realize there was a demo. I will give it a DL and try it out.
never heard of this game , but it's actually nice.
But war... war never changes
Anyone else care to give impressions?
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Hard to say from the demo, but looks like one of the best sim games in years. If The Sims by EA can get into 90's for reviews this game deserves 100's. It's so much better than any Sim game.
Tropico 3 deserves anyones attention who liked games in the vein of Ceaser 3 or Stronghold.
I tried this game on PC. It´s good, but apart of graphics, it´s same as Tropico 1. But if you didn´t played old Tropico, or really love the game...
thanks for the reminder, will download this today and give it a try.
But do not expect this game to get good review scores. It is a niche game and reviewers are not able to accept games for what they are
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
Its always fusterating when they don't give review scores based on the quality, but how much the writer has an affinity for the genre...
I wound up beating the 2nd scenario that is available in the demo pretty easy. The downsides of the demo is that (like the Divinity 2 demo) you can't save it...If a developer is going to offer such a nice demo, there should be an option to save!
Otherwise, it plays incredibly nice. I will probably pick this up for my 360. It is indeed a mix of stronghold and Caesar. Mostly, it reminds me of Capitalism + Sim City.
Plus the custom avatar creator is pretty neat. The traits can be pretty hilarious when you are forced to create drawbacks for your character (such as excessive gas).
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
