POLL: What is the longest your 360 worked?

From launch, never broken 28 15.30%

<1 Year 66 36.07%

< 2 YEars 33 18.03%

< 3 Years 22 12.02%

< 4 Years 12 6.56%

Other 22 12.02%

1) That's not reportable. It's a statement that's likely on well ground. Not only did you make a bad poll question you completely misrepresented a concept of polling. This is stuff that they go over in mid level psychology and sociology questions.

It's not that "people think they're answering something, but they're answering something else."

It's that... people often think the "right" answer is "wrong" given the position they are interviewing for... when in reality people generally want a Type A personality even for a "followers" position.

B) It's not from my point of view. It's from an analytical view.

Every choice is corrupted by the poor composition of the poll. Making every choice meaningless as far as data gathering... I could name about 5 things wrong with it... and it's just 1 question.

First off "What is the longest your 360 worked." is vague and doesn't really specify what you mean by worked... many people could take it as "had some issues that resolved itself." others could take it as something beyond the point of repairable, and others as taking it in for repairs.

Second, the aforementioned problem with people who have had the system for less then 4 years putting down any number of answers.

Third, other... it doesn't make any sense in context of the poll... and further just confuses matters. People may take other as "It still works fine, but makes a weird noise." "Controller battery died". "works but has problems" "didn't buy a console at launch as in the last statement".... and numerous other things that may or may not need to be in the other categories by definition.

Like I said before, you keep taking this in the context that you know what I'm doing. I just sent you a message explaining it.

You come off as being really arrogant Kasz. You know nothing about me and my OP. Nothing.

haha, and it's over something so trivial and insignificant. Probably something you yourself have already figured out weeks ago. I was just testing it, making a lil' VG$. Maybe I should've just told you at first, but you don't have a very personable attitude kasz, not one bit. You get more flies with honey than vinegar kasz.

Have 1 launch unit that never has died.
Have 1 launch unit that died after 3.5 years.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Read it... pointed out why the above is still a huge problem with what your OP is "about" in a following message.

Also noted... i'm not sure moderators would be happy with the meaning of your OP even if it were done better.

If I come of as arrogant though, it's because bad  polling is a pet peeve.  People often say that statistics lie.  Statistics never lie.

Instead people either don't realize what those statistics mean or have faulty data collection methods that bring about false statistics or conclusions.  This is still true in your "real op."

Why would I want to make the mods happy? I already keep them occupied with daily fellatio, why should I felate them in my posts as well?

mine was 11 months..so went for the year, all i played was gears 1 over and over lol

I had 5 360s die in about 6 months, got my 6th unit , it lasted 6 months, now I'm on my 7 th 360 and its been about 6 -8 months, so far so good, but it does not get used very often, My 360 sets right next to my original PS3 with no problems ever 3 plus years old. My 360 experience has been CRAZY

I have replaced 360's twice.

I still have one of my two launch 360's. So November 2005 and still ticking is my best 360 so far.

I'm surprised that there are so many launch 360's thriving out there. knocks on wood.

I wonder if that has something to do with the way they were manufactured (certain ones are really really well made) or what

voted other, 2 years and no problem with my original elite.

Yep, i'm a girl
