I heard Sony has a patent on a reward system using trophies so I am hoping it is something awesome like free downloads for trophy levels or getting offered a beta based on a previous platinum.

0. Almost level 8. I could get 4 platinums tomorrow if I wanted with InFamous, Uncharted, Burnout and LBP since I am about an hour away from it on each game but I really don't care for them.

I still need to get a couple trophies on Uncharted 1 and 2 Dead Space and that will move me up to 11. Throw in some cheap buy and returns and I should be up to 15 buy the end of the month.
