Forums - Microsoft - Two X360 questions...

First off...

Is EVERY 360 game capable of being installed? As far as I see, that's a very useful feat and prevents scratches+loads much faster, etc etc etc. If all of them are, that helps a LOT.

And... should I get the Jasper 360 now, or will there be a new redesign soon?

Thanks guys.

you don't have it already?

You can install every game and just buy Jasper. There is no rumors about new redesign and Jaspers are already pretty reliable so you don't have to worry about rrod.

I'm sure every game does install and every game I wanted to install on my hard drive did, but I heard Halo 3 runs better off the disk....so thats the exception.

And as far as redesigns go, if it does happen it won't be for a long time....so get yourself a 360 now...

the only game that does not work well installed is Halo 3
the rest are fine

jasper is fine also but im not sure about a redesigned system anytime soon

Every single title can be installed and theres no new revision planned in the short term anyway.

I have two games, but no console. I just saw a great deal for them, and knowing I'd buy them sooner or later, I got them now - TLR and Infinite Undiscovery.

Halo 3 is a strange case, I imagine that is one I'll be playing a lot (mostly with friends, I guess, not huge on online multiplayer), so, too bad but oh well.. what can I do. 4 player split screen = too good to miss out on.

Thanks for the lightning-fast answers.

Btw if you get Halo: ODST you can still get the same Halo multiplayer experience except for the Halo 3 campaign Coop as well as all the maps they released. ODST installs to the HDD.

Neat. That is also one I'll be getting. Halo is a rare shooter series that I do like.

Bungie actually advises not to install Halo 3, it increases load times which is very ass-backward. Otherwise- anything can be installed.
