Well I wouldn't say this year. Though. I think that PS3 will have to keeps its steady sales. Though is it true that the PS3's big hitters are all in the 1st half of 2010?

Natal won't push 360 sales as much as people think, but even so, the PS3 won't pass the 360 worldwide in 2010. When it's all said and done for 2009, the PS3 will have only caught up by 2 million units, and it will still be 5.5 million behind, yet it's going to sell 5.5 million more consoles than the 360 in 2010? Um, no.


The only way the PS3 will pass the 360 in 2010 is if the PS3 has another price drop, there is no other way for it to happen unless there's a massive shift in public perception in North America, if the PS3 becomes THE console of choice.

this year, the ps3 will have gt and gow3 both will also increase sales significantly. i c the ps3 doing 200k-250k weekly from now on making it sell rufly 20 million+ next year!.

xbox is up 5.7 currently.

so for the xbox to maintain its lead ti will have to sell 15 million. how u ask? well.. this all depends on NATAL... but i doubt natal will resonate as well as mircosoft hopes. at most the xbox will sell 11 million copies, thus by the end of the year the 360 will be behind the ps3 by a few million.

People fail to realize that MS isn't going to lie down and take it up the ass. They wanna win!!!

I predict that in the next few months, MS will cut the 360 by $50. Every month directly thereafter, they will further cut the price by and unknown value that is wholly determined by how the 360 is preforming in comparison to the ps3.

In regards to the Natal launch, the xbox 360 will be exactly $0.00 at this time. It will be given away everywhere, in the mall, at church, even when you're on the toilet!!!(THEY WILL FIND YOU!) This will all transpire in the month of November if my sources are correct. In addition, Microsoft will declare that every baby born in America will receive a free Natal. This will cause the xbox to sell 100 times more than the wii and ds combined and subsequently make Aaron Greenberg jizz ecstatically every time he cums to vgchartz for sales figures.

I'm thinking

360 - 8M
PS3 - 13M

for next year. I can see the PS3 doing a little more than that but without something extreme I don't see 360 doing much better than what I posted. So... Hell YEA!!!

NO 2011 will be the year where PS3 FINALLY outsells the Xbox 360.
Sony are selling roughly 2m units so yeahhh 1 year
