@ Final-Fan

im not quite sure I understand why you dont believe my role claim? because my role isnt on a website? so? mods have experimented with roles before, I assume if its not on your precious website thats what WoW did in giving me this role.

I'm not going to say anything about my role other than I'm pro-town. It is just this rash of roleclaiming makes me want to roleclaim with a twist

Also, I'm starting to wonder if we have no cops or other investigative roles. typically someone comes forward by now or we had a cop nocked off during the night.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

@nordlead: Cops would be listed as so in the chart so we have no dead cops. If we have cops, they haven't found anything yet... but it might be possible that with many protective roles WoW decided to skip investigative roles.

Look, it's pretty simple.  So far we have two mage roles aside from you that seem pretty clear in what they do, and they fit the FF archetypes pretty damn well.  (I presume White Mage will be a doctor type.) 

Now maybe I'm wrong:  maybe any primary color is fair game and it's only by sheer coincidence that the Blue Mage happens to do something exactly like what the FF Blue Mages do.  But I doubt it.  I admit the Black Mage could be just coincidence, but the Blue Mage is too much IMO. 

Or, as you said, maybe the FF mages were used and WoW just added to that with the Green Mage or whatever.  But I'm still not unvoting yet.  Don't worry too much, it doesn't look like your death is imminent in any case. 

(As a note, I would have thought your role might be better called the necromancer or something; since you're using the dead guys' powers, why not just explain that by using the dead guys themselves?  But that's a poor reason to disbelieve you, I just thought I'd add that.)

I'm pretty sure what he meant was that in a lot of our games, if the cop hasn't roleclaimed by now it's because he's dead.  Or nonexistent.

not sure what to say to that, I only know what my role PM said, I also got a PM today with the powers I got from the people who died, I cant tell you anything I dont know, you would have to ask WoW why my role has that title.

To go back on my "déjà vu" from a previous round:

In that round (7) WoW was an Assassin

To clear on WoW's role, it was a serial killer role, with the thing added

Odd nights: can kill one person, can be targeted normally
Even nights: can't kill, can't be targeted by anyone but the cop (therefore, any mafia/ww kill won't work), and gets told if someone tried to kill her (not who, just that she was targeted by certain faction)

So his videos had nothing to do with his actual role BUT

During the game, he made a false roleclaim of being a vacationner, which he described as having to invite people to a gathering (through the videos he posted) and then he could see who targetted him at night. Since this game is run by WoW, it might be possible he wanted to include his fake role in a round.

I'm really not convinced this is what's going on right now, maybe I focus too much on details but I just wanted to put this information out there.
