HD bias is too strong over CNET, it literally stinks :(

Well, their evaluation of the Wii was, to their credit, a bit more balanced than it could have been.

So instead of actually discussing the merits of what they praised on the PS3 its resorting to hating on the 360 in a thread once again. Its an opinion of the writer FFS, when he says NXE is easier to use than XMB I'd argue he is right, then again I actually use my 360 for more than 1 hour a week. All those haters in here wouldn't be happy with this article unless it put their favourite console on some pedastal above the others, its quite sad really.

Yep, absolutely shocking, isn't it?

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Well, in my case anyway, I'd like the Wii section to be something more than, "yup Wii is for babby and your grandma buy mario."

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I own all three consoles, and I find NXE to be much worse than XMB or Wii Channels.

I stopped reading there lmao! you must be joking......

I think its best to avoid consoles altogether. If you have a fancy pants PC you can look down on console owners who have 1/4 of the total ram of your video card for the whole of the console.

Tease.

I agree with the opening but the descriptions of whom each console would best suit were a little strange.

Amazing how much there is about the article to discuss that doesn't involve slating their opinion for being different to your own isn't it.  I happen to agree the Wii section is pityfully small.
