free online and i will 100% have it

This.

I don't know if I'll buy it otherwise.

I triple this.

If it was like White Knight Chronicles for example, then it'd be day 1 most likely. oh well though..

I quadruple this

I don't see the ideology behind paying every month, its something I can never do, it feels like a rip off.

Based on how much you play, it can be worth more than buying a game.  a $15 subscription fee = a new game every 4 months, I buy more than 3 games a year, and if you really like the game, and that is all you play then paying $15 a month is really not that big of a deal, and actually cheaper in the long run.

FF11 had a TON of content, judging by your comment about it being a rip-off I doubt you played the game, but even before the expansion packs the game offered months upon months of playtime (jobs, sub-jobs, crafting, etc)

Now a lot of what made the game great also made it terrible, as leveling a craft was a pain in the ass having to travel between cities to get ingredients or farming (/THF for the win! - Loved my Flee)

I just hope they offered a "lifetime" subscription (Like LotR and Champions) though, really before playing the game, are you willing to plop down $200 to play as long as you feel like?  I would have to think about this if they did offer that, as I kept paying for my FF11 account for 3 years and never really played, as I was playing WoW.

The reason I didn't cancel my FF11?  I thought I might go back someday, however, if you cancel your account, after 6 months it gets deleted (I prefer Blizzard's policy of never deleting accounts)

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

i play ff11 so i will play this too. FF11 with better graphics. you can't go wrong with that.

F2P

Free to play will be the deciding factor whether I buy it for the PS3 or not.

If not, I will not buy. I'm not the type of guy to enjoy MMO's unless they're gonna be free. The same goes for The Agency and DC Universe Online for PS3.

Are you guys serious? In any mmo either a cash shop or a subscription is required because servers for mmos take a lot of money to maintain and they also need money to develop new content for the game so people would keep playing. Mmos aren't something you play for a few days than quit. They require a long term dedication.

Free download with free 2 week trial. I've never played a MMO so I need a trial. If I have to pay to try it out, I'll never try it out.

Free to play and on PS3.

If it's free to play, has an interesting setting and lot's and lot's of Moogles then maybe.
It also depends on whether I fall in love with Ragnarok Online II or not.

i would say becouse i played FFXI and No more Grinding levels, Gosh i hated that in World of warcraft especially when grinding a new Alt to 80 again. BOOOOOOOO to grinding.

Ooh and the GFX ofc

For sure free online would make me play this game, I liked ffxi and have played a few mmos, but I cant stand playing games on my pc unless its such a superior experience that I have to do it (dragon age) or exclusive. Subscriptions still irk me which is why I cant get into mmo's seriously, its hard to justify spending an extr 10-15 bucks a month just to play a game. Hopefully they move to a micro-transaction based system and keep the online free while offering premium services that dont affect gameplay. Im about 99.999% sure this wont happen, but it would be nice.
