If someone has made a thread about this already then I apologize. Looking at alot of comments about the new game SE is going annouce it seems most people believe that it will be ff7 (kickass), but will it be for the 360 too? I think that it won't because all other ff7 spinoffs have been for sony consoles only. Can SE make it for the 360 or does sony have them by the balls when it comes to FF7?

I think if it was a ff7 remake, it would definetely be on the 360, after 13 I would be less surprised if it was only 360 than the other way around.

OMG. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN! Sony has the publishing rights to FFVII and anything FFVII related. I know 360 fans would love to see more M$ moneyhatting , but unless Sony sells those rights, there is absolutely nothing M$ can do.

NO it would not. Sony published everything related to FFVII. So unless something severely changed and Sony execs got really drunk and decided to sell those rights away, it will not happen no matter what M$ does with their money.

Its possible, but it would just leave fans disappointed seeing it going to the xbox 360. Square enix should be aware of this and that exclusivity does matter. Despite the playstation 3 being third place.

thanks for clearing that up demonfox13, I didnt know sony owned the rights. My guess wouldve been yes, but I guess they cant lol.
