look guys. squall is an emo wimp. cloud is gay - i made a thread about that before.

so there, the difference between these two guys.

The problem with that game is that Laguna wasn't the main character of it.

Emo characters are not a problem, but Squall just took it too far.

This thread is filled with too much hate.

But yeah Squall still sits at the top of my list of most hated characters in any game. Ever. Mieu from Abyss was not as annoying. And I wanted to fucking kill Mieu.

And Cloud from VII was absolutely not nearly as bad as Squall. Actually throughout most of the game Cloud undereacts to almost everything. Even to Aerith's death. After she dies, it's almost never mentioned again. By anyone.

Cloud's biggest flaw was the fact that he had no personality. He's a jerk at the beggining of the game, but it fades away after the first... 3 hours? After that he's mostly your cookie cutter hero.

Squall is annoying to the point of physical pain. With all his "whatevers" and "go talk to a wall"... he never grows out of that shit, like Cloud did. When that Edea threw that ice spike in his chest (as I knew he couldn't die, cuz he was the main protagonist) I wanted him to go comatose like Cloud did, so I could at least get a break from him. What a complete douchebag.

Let's face it, since FFVII most FF main characters are awful. 

Cloud goes from arrogant ass to emo little cutter.

Squall goes from emo to slightly happy with his life by the end of the game.

Zidane rocks. 

Tidus is a whiny little bitch.

Vaan is even more of a whiny little bitch than Tidus.

Lightning is probably going to be a Cloud clone... really looking forward to that...

just because your not bothered about getting close to plenty of women doesn't make squall and emo wimp just because he's afraid of getting close to people, he just has a bit of dignity and class

Zidane sucks. Annoying little brat.

Tidus is the best post VII main character, he is realistic, a good dude, and funny. Zidane is just an annoyance.

Bull. Zidane looked young but never acted like a brat aside from some sarcastic jokes. Zidane was the most mature FF character since Terra, without contest. Tidus was 10 times more childish throughout that entire game. I almost didn't finish it because of his whiny little childish ass. 

Tidus stopped being childish once he realized what shit he's in. About 1/3 in the game.

Zidane stayed annoying throughout the whole game.
