I'm playing FF8 again via PSN. What horrible lead character design, now that I realize it.. Back when I first played the game, I was a teenager.. So I guess I kinda shared his emo-ness. But now? Damn man, grow a set of balls will you?

Yeah he kinda is

I actually liked Squall, and during that time in the game he was either 17 or 18. Orphan who loved his sis and lost her. He obviously is somewhat introverted but he's a fairly badass character. Lets see Cloud, extreme pathological liar, even during advent children he's an emo depressed "boo hoo, I can't protect anyone cuz I let Aeris die, boo hoo". Squall is fairly close to a real world character given the circumstances of his past. Also remember based on the storyline Rinoa is his first love. I would love to see people's reaction under his circumstances. His Lionheart limit is still win.
P.S. Zack was a much better character than Cloud will ever be.

Anyways I like Squall,

Unlike Cloud who saves the world and still is "Not interested..." through out his sequel Advent Children, Squall eventually comes around to being a person who finds out he cares for people.

...don't mind me. I'll just be over here eating popcorn as you all post repetative one line 'yeah he sux' posts. Ignoring all portions of the game where he had solid and well defined character growth, surpassing such similar characters as Cloud, Tidus and Vaan.

Oh, and may I add, 'Whatever' and 'I don't need love!' and 'I don't want to be remembered like that!' Yup. Good times. Good times...
