Alright time to hear some thoughts on this game...
I played this game when it was first released on the SNES back in the day. It really stood out among all of the platformers and shmup's of the time. Not only were the graphics and animation striking, but the pace and way the game was played were something very refreshing. Very interesting all the way through and it also made you use your mind to get through some spots in the game. And man, when an action sequence presented itself and the music kicked up, it really was tense and exciting.
A few years ago I tracked down this game and played it again, and I think I enjoyed it even more as an adult than as a youngster. Still fun and stands out among so many other games, but this time I actually was able to finish the game. The ending....was very touching and stacks up well against many of the stories we find in games today.
So anyways, I always encourage others to try this game. It's a blast and deserves more recognition that it has gotten. Now, anyone else out there?
