Is there a better translation of the article anywhere. I mean technically this is still 2009 haha so possible get the original article translated by someone who knows Japanese and English or something.


As for commenting on what I think it says, sounds like it could be anything. Lots of games are requested a lot if they have large fanbases and considering Nomura has made a lot of games like that, well it could be a lot of things. From the sounds of it we won't hear anything about it for quite sometime into 2010 either so hard to get really excited about this.

Personally I think Cloud should kind of sound like Ash Ketchum from the pokemon cartoon.

If they were to give him a voice that is.

I think Sony have some kind of rights to the series. Pure speculation like...

Sony published FF7 in American and Europe. Sony distributed Advent Children everywhere that wasn't Japan. There was a special edition Advent Children PS3. Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core were both exclusive to Sony platforms. Cloud and Sephy qare thought of as Sony mascots more than some first party characters!

Nomura is currently working on PS3 hardware with Versus. So my guess is he will stick to the platform when working on consoles.

I think Wii is just a no go. The JRPG fanbase is yet to be proven, while the JRPG fanbase on PS3 and to an extent, 360 is there. Heck, PSP is more likely than Wii IMO.

I think it will either be like FF13 (PS3 exclusive in Japan, multi everywhere else) or full blown PS3 Exclusive.

your absolutely right.for a bigger reason...remember that small percent SONY owns from SW?..it doesn't do much, but all SE games made from SE starting on PS1 till BEFORE SE merger SONY has first dibs rights those games so they only will be released on PS consoles

Could I get some proof to that?
