The Don Krieg arc was average IMO. Also, the execution of the Skypiea arc being great was mostly thanks to Enel. Without him, it would have been average as well (I mean seriously, it was nothing amazing story-wise). Also, the CP9 arc was like the Arlong arc x1000000000. The Alabasta arc was alright in the beginning (since all they were during was walking to that city) but the second half was epic. The arc ranking goes like this for me

1.) CP9 arc (BY FAR)
2.) Sabaody Archipelago (The ending of that arc is what did it for me)
3.) Alabasta arc (EPIC)
4.) Arlong arc (Luffy FTW)
5.) Skypiea arc (Great arc because of Enel)
6.) Impel Down arc (The second half was awesome but the first half was SO BORING)
7.) Don Krieg arc (Average arc other then the Zoro vs. Mihawk fight)
8.) Thriller Bark (BY FAR the worst arc in One Piece, it only got good in the end of it)

I won't rank the Marines vs. Pirates arc until its done. But so far, it would rank above the Impel down arc but below the Skypiea arc for me.

I should probably start reading One Piece again, I'm like 2 years behind. I feel guilty because my cousin always wants to talk about the newest, and it's annoying when I can get spoiled so easily ("ACE IS BACK," don't know exactly what that means now, but I guess I will soon). Haven't read Berserk in forever either, though I doubt it's moved much at all, at that pace...

Last Bleach chapter was kinda meh. Though I think the series in general has been for a while, none of it makes much sense (I hate when villains spare killing everyone for no reason). Then we have Naruto, with Danzo and his freak arm, probably the biggest facepalm moment ever in the series!

So, what other manga do you guys follow? Anyone following others, like Bakuman, Air Gear, MSN, etc? The Bakuman chap was probably my fav for the week. The wheels are in motion!

I think I'll go catch up on some Yotsuba now... It's been like, a year!

Anyway, the worst offender of the bad guy thing I've seen recently was in Fairy Tail:

This guy brags on about destroying everything, including the main heroes, even though they're already beat up, since their bodies still exist he'll continue the pain(?). Yet, of course, they get up and are fine like 2 chapters later... maybe it was just a bad translation. Still, it pissed me off. It's like, COME ON. This good guy immunity, argghhh

Annnd Bakuman, yeah. I'm kind of glad Mashiro / Takagi failed that one, they deserve a cool manga anyway, lol. Their next one is definitely a hit, any more fails is too much. I'm looking forward to seeing how they react when they see Crow is owning it up with 2 manga's at once!

LMAO, One Piece is filled with things like that to the extreme. There are things that happen to the characters in One Piece that even by anime logic they should have died.

Suspension of disbelief is necessary for these kinds of things, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy them fully.

Bakuman is pretty cool, I still feel like it's been kind of slow lately though. Seems like things will be moving again soon though.

Air Gear, ugh, I loved the first 100 chapters of it, but it's so weird after that. I just read it to keep up with it, but it feels like Bleach felt for me for a while, a waste of time. Still, I have hope that it can be good again.

I'm seriously amazed with One Piece. How is each and every chapter so awesome lately? and it doesn't let up at all.

My favorite arc in any manga is probably HxH's Greed Island. I've read it so many times now, and I love it each and every time.
