More of the same for the 360 *Yawn*

Hasn't the 360 got enough 1st person shooters by now? seriously, way to over do it.

Hasnt nintendo got enough mario games? I never seem to hear any one complain about them "over doing it"

Hasnt the wii got enough little kid games? Its easy to stereotype a console, anyone can do it. IMO the 360 has the most variety of any console this gen at this momonet in time. It caters to the fan base with its halos and gears games but also has action/adventure games lost planet, dead rising, has rts games, has platformers, has rpgs, both japanese and western. It has variety. And to a certian extent so does the ps3. Im so sick of this "nintendo is so innovative and has such a wide variety" garbage when theyre the company that has been recycling the same franchise for some 20 odd years.

Id also like to note that i am not an ms fanboy though i may come off as one in this post. Im personally not a fan of ms but being the gamer that i am cant deny the fact that they are putting out exellent software.

Anyways, i hate mmo's and would be upset if bungie was using resources to make such a project. Didnt egm also say a ff7 remake would be announced at tgs, at least in theyre rumor mill?

Around the Network

dababus and AoA that's not necessary and has nothing to do with this topic. This isn't the place to debate that. Go make a topic about console game variety if that's what you want to discuss.

Donnybrook...

IMO, with MS having such proprietary technology, already demo-able, it means the real-deal is probably already in production on a rudamentary stage.

IMO, having a real, valid, persistant MMOFPS would be absolutely revolutionary.

Imagine: Playing a Call of Duty-like game, set throughout Europe and Japan, with hundreds of thousands of human and AI-controlled people, waging war on eachother.

Imagine loading up your gamercard, and jumping into a virtual airplane, to be dropped behind "live" enemy lines, attacking real and AI-based enemies, trying to achieve a tactical advantage, only to find your fighting against thousands of AI and human-controlled people.

It could be very, very interesting if you were able to "load" up a huge level, and play with a few hundred humans and a few thousand AI in a given area. It could be magnificent.

In a few years, in a few years... :)

Halo Online...

sorry naz but hes completly right

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
