I think the gap is going to dissappear by christmas 2010, PS3 is going to take over big time in sales in 2010. Bold prediction but there you go.

Edit: it has lots of exclusives in 2010 which will push more sofware sales, for example GT5 and GOWIII should give it a nice increase and that is just the begginning.

I think that the PS3 will outsell the 360 eventually, but that might be sometime next gen, It's gonna be the 10 year life cycle that dose it!

This could all change at any time depending on what games come out and who drops the price lowest, I wouldn't say that the PS3 has NO chance of beating the 360, in fact I think it probably will in due course, but by then it may not mean so much.

You are very very Wrong.

MarketShare =/= Gap.

If Nokia sells 10kk cells a year and has 50% of marketshare. And Sansung sells 5kk a year and has 25% of marketshare.

In a certain point of time, Nokia will be selling 15kk a year, however Samsung 10kk. The gap is still the same, but Samsung is actually pretty close here.

If I were sony after losing BILLIONS of dollars and coming close to breaking even next year,I would not drop the price any further,wait till 2011.The only time microsoft cut the price of a xbox 100$ was this year ant that was the elite,a price cut of any sort and the 360 will boost greatly in the US and everywhere else.

I dont want to start a war with you but Im sorry I think your blind.

What? They cut the Elite $100 this year, and last year the dropped all of their models' prices. Are you sure you're not the blind one?

Im not shur if you understood me,im saying the xbox has never had a price cut of 100$ before untill the elite got one this year.Im saying ANY pricecut and the 360 will begin to outsell ps3 simple as that and for some reason if that doesnt work than microsoft will bleed cash again to stay ahead,next gen will be very interesting because I believe it will be the first gen where it will go side to side on whos ahead between the 2.
