You think MS will do $100 price cuts in 3 consecutive years? You're crazy. They MAY have a $50 price cut this year, MAYBE. Sony could counter that, though, so it'd be useless.

If I were sony after losing BILLIONS of dollars and coming close to breaking even next year,I would not drop the price any further,wait till 2011.The only time microsoft cut the price of a xbox 100$ was this year ant that was the elite,a price cut of any sort and the 360 will boost greatly in the US and everywhere else.

What? They cut the Elite $100 this year, and last year the dropped all of their models' prices. Are you sure you're not the blind one?
