and who are you to say that, the games have minor difference, from colors difference and small texture, mainly being a rushed ports.

Ps3 colors seem more vibrant now than they used to look like couple years back. Most 360 games have higher resolution for the textures but unless you have eyes of a hawk you're not going to see much of a difference.

Most of the PS3 games look better IMO (AC2, Batman AA, Dragons Age, RE5). Most of those 360 games looks like dull and grayed while the PS3 is more vibrant.

Actual graphics there's hardly any different they both look amazing but if the in-thing is to be more gray then i guess the 360 wins.

The reason the PS3 shots have a greater contrast range is simply because of the expanded colour range setting for HDMI being turned on. The Xbox 360 has the exact same option - only better as it has 3 settings instead of just "on\off". The Xbox 360 has standard\intermediate\expanded.

The trouble here is that although you get a "juicer" picture with the PS3 set to on as the screenshots show, you're actually losing detail. Just look at Batman's cape for evidence of this, it is virtually just a black texture on the PS3 with the HDMI expanded colour option on.

Wheras if Gamespot set the HDMI colour range to "intermediate" on the Xbox 360 they could have achieved a happy medium.

...So there! ;)

Multiplatforms will always look slightly better on the xbox 360 than on the playstation 3 on a certain extend. Depends which is the lead console.

To be honest I don't see why people are comparing versions of multiplatform games to each other to show that console A does better graphics than console B. Why not compare exclusives instead?

Major confused with some of VGChartz users comments here. How can anyone look at these shots and say PS3 has better lighting on any of the games?

On every game from every light source PS3 version misses alpha glare effects. They are present in every 360 version. Also lots of lighting and shadows are missing from PS3 version characters and objects. But are all present in 360 versions. The lighting is what lets the PS3 down mostly, and in these games it's very apparant lots of lighting techniques and tricks are not present in the PS3 versions.

Amm no to all of what you said.

Again, the xbox 360 versions are MORE OPTIMIZED! Games optimised for PS3, ie exclusives like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 totally rape games for the optimised for the 360 like all these multiplats n gears 2. Next gen, I hope Sonys machine aint such a pain to code for. That said the differences in multiplats are minor, except in rare cases like bayonetta.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
