My PS3 has started to freeze, it started to occur after the recent firmwire update. I have only played UFC and Uncharted 1 since then (i think) and both

have frozen a couple of times, should i be worried? My PS3 is only 2 months old, got the 250 slim if it matters.

i don't think there is something wrong with your ps3, i think its random software error

Mine has frozen a few times, but then so have my Wii and 360. They're all cool. Get it!? Freeze......COOL. Bwhaaaa haaaa!!!! Ahem. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

My old PS2 did freeze to but not after only 2 months actually like 1 month 20 days

if you have an external harddrive or a big enough flash drive plug it in and go to the system settings and select backup.

it will store all your data incase anything happens.

If your worried, now is the time to return/exchange it. It's still fairly new.

ps3 as with any consoles, freezes are common, don't worry just yet. Backing up refers to getting an external HDD and storing things there like saves and game data.

yeah I assumed back it up meant data back up but what is really worth?, the only thing I can think

of are the trophies but aren't they stored to the account? I have fast internet so I can download

patches and that kind of stuff fast no need for back up there and don't have any game saves just

got my platinum trophies on both Uncharted games, gonna begin a new game today,

could be GTA IV or Infamous
